Vanguard Solo 401k is no more
In my book, I mention that signing up for a individual or solo 401k is a great way to get real tax advantages as a solo 1099.
When I went 1099, I signed up for a Vanguard Solo 401k.
I just learned that they sold their small business portfolio to another company.

I'll report back on the transition but one of my gripes is that that the Vanguard small business website looks like it's from the 1990s.
Ascensus looks like a more modern company so it will probably be easier to set up an account, do auto-transfers etc. You can still buy Vanguard funds with a low fee which is the most important thing.
