Responsiveness is underrated

I saw this tweet about how being responsive is underrated.

Nick mentions it in the context of being an employee. It's also underrated in the context of being a 1099 consultant.

When you're in the relationship building stage with a client, be extra responsive early on. Then, when you do good work and they trust you, be more proactive about your communications.

Over time, the client will stop bugging you and you will have more autonomy.
