Host the party

There were a few people I wanted to get together with that included my employees, people I'm trying to recruit, and some friends of the business.

I didn't have time to get together one-on-one with everyone so I decided to host a happy hour at a bar and invite everyone.

It went great and I got to talk with and introduce the guests to each other.

The main benefit to ME however is that because the HH was fun for everyone (or so I think) my company is now associated with this good vibe and facilitates great professional and personal relationships for the future.

This is a hack that I've seen other entrepreneurs use at conferences. They will host a get together outside of the conference to help build their network and establish meaningful relationships.

So if you have the opportunity to host a part or HH I recommend it.

And pick up the tab. My total bill was $500 for about 8 people or $40/person. It will pay off 100x down the road.
