Going 1099 may not be what you want to do with the rest of your life.

BUT, if you wanted to do something else other than your current job, what would having an extra $100k in the bank and a 4 day work week allow you to do?

Would you be able to start up a more fun business? Work on a side project? Make a real estate investment?

Or maybe it just gives you peace of mind and lower stress levels.

Going 1099 can be the "thing that gets you to the thing." It can act as a bridge to doing more of the stuff you want to do, business or otherwise.
