Action now vs. later

I started more seriously networking over the last two years and it has started to pay off. New sub-contract leads, new recruiting leads, and three new hires for my company.

My only regret is that I didn't start doing it earlier!

I've heard from a few folks interested in my book that they are waiting to buy it for various reasons.

Some want to finish a current contract or project. Others just feel like they're generally too busy. There's always a reason.

But the thing is, if you read the book now, you will be more primed to take advantage of opportunities now!

If you read it one year from now, there is a year's worth of action you will have missed out on.

For example, if you do a good job on your current project this year and you read the book, you'll know you're in a good position to potentially convert your job into a 1099 role.

Or you may meet up with an old co-worker. If you read the book you'll know that you should ask for some introductions to program managers at his current company.

Or if your fear of admin work has been holding you back from making the move, reading Going 1099 would have alleviated that fear and helped you move forward.

Of course, I want you to buy the book because I'm biased. But I also don't want you to eventually buy the book and regret not buying it earlier.

Want the full playbook? Check out Going 1099.
