1099 Opportunity: Remote Oracle DBA

I recently checked in with a Deloitte PM I know and he said he is in desperate need of someone to fill an Orcale database administrator role.

I'm happy to refer you or anyone you know that fits the bill if they want a potential 1099 gig. Alternatively if they want to work for Deloitte or me as a W2 that's also a possibility. I'm not sure if the certifications are hard requirements but I wouldn't let that deter you if you have the skill set.

Oracle DBA

This position is for a ORACLE DBA supporting the Army CHRA Azure cloud infrastructure. Oracle and WebLogic experience is required.

Certifications:

Oracle Database Certification (Required)

Security+ (Required)

Linux LPI or equivalent (Preferred)

Clearance:

DoD Secret

Experience:

DISA STIG experience (Required)

WebLogic Install/Patching (Required)

Role:

Working with the team to administer the CHRA data environment. Working with the team to ensure DoD STIG compliance. Platform health and patching efforts would be expected from this role.

• Security+ (Or equivalent IA cert) and computing environment certification (i.e. Oracle DB Cert)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience automating routine administrative tasks desired

• Understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database administration and platform management

• Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) – preferred
